What is On-Site English?
Do you work in an international or multicultural team?
Are you frustrated by a communication barrier within your workplace team?
Do language and culture differences limit efficiency and productivity?
The mission of EC Boston’s On-Site English Program is to provide language training courses and intercultural workshops to help people from different backgrounds understand and work together productively and efficiently in a predominantly English-speaking workplace. We have provided academic and intercultural training to thousands of US residents and international clients for over a decade.
No matter the type of work they do, EC Boston can help your staff reach their communication goals by improving their English language skills. We create a customized plan for your team; whether the focus is on listening skills, workplace language or cultural expectations, EC Boston lessons will help employees understand conversations and expand their vocabulary thus eliminating the need for intermediaries.
Highly trained instructors, frequent assessment and the use of real, applicable and current materials ensure the highest quality of instruction for your staff. In order to best assess your needs, we offer a free initial consultation that consists of interviewing both the management and the staff. This allows EC Boston professionals to form a complete picture of your workplace perceptions and areas for improvement. We then work closely with you to establish program goals and prioritize company objectives. A customized program will then be designed to fit your schedule, staff, needs and resources.
Below are some example scenarios of when our On-Site English classes could improve communication in a workplace:
